Sunday November 25 2007, was the last Sunday before Advent. I was in New York City, at St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery, with maybe 10 other people, for the service. There was a DVD devotion lined up. Yup. No signal. There was the God Beam, beaming down on the very small flock, saying "look". Just friggin' look. Up, down, I don't give a good God damn, just look. I did. Much later, alone in the sanctuary, I took this picture. Thus endeth the technology wonks. Smitten. |
